Booking Through Thursday: Looking Ahead

Here's today's Booking through Thursday, hosted by Deb. To read the full meme and to see other answers, click here.

So . . . any reading resolutions? Say, specific books you plan to read? A plan to read more ____? Anything at all? Name at least one thing you’re looking forward to reading this year!

My resolution is to complete my reading challenges and, if I fail, to have fun trying. I am particularly looking forward to reading and reviewing a new-for-me genre: graphic novels.

Yay! My goal is to complete my challenges as well! I think I'm going to read a few of my little graphic novels today!

I need to remember to answer the question today, I got too lazy last Thursday and forgot!

Good luck with your challenges! I'm really excited about starting mine too.

I've joined 5 challenges, so I hope to do those. Happy New Year.

Good luck with your challenges! So many of us have joined different challenges and 2009 should be fun!

I have the same goal when it comes to challenges and to remember not to be hard on myself if I don't complete them.
Thank you for your post about The Tea Shop Girls. My daughter and I are going to read it together this year.
Happy reading in 2009.

Happy New Year Beth! I haven't joined any challenges. I tried one and didn't complete it so I haven't tried any others.

I'd like to complete my reading challenges too. I've only chosen a couple so maybe I have a good chance.

Good luck with your challenges, and hope you find reading graphic novels as enjoyable as I have.

Resolution is never written on stone. I don’t want resolution to fetter my reading spontaneity. The rough sketch is that I should read more nonfiction this year--to get out of a comfort zone of fiction and read more "dangerously."

Happy New Year! :)
