I just love old brick and iron. Nice shot!

Beautiful combination of industrial and organic - I love the way all the different patterns are drawn together by the circle in the center of the ironwork.

You always manage to see the beauty in things I would not even glance at! Very nice!

I love architechture

Mojo 2/11/09, 7:45 AM

Excellent composition! You can't tell right away if that's actually a reflection or the view of the other side.

Nice job!

Great workmanship..
I've been in a construction industry quite some time..and I tell you that it's not easy to arrange bricks in a such manner.
But they really need to patch that crack though.
Great capture :)

Beautiful! I love the old brickwork and the view behind the wagonwheel type window.

What a beautiful combination!
I hope you are going to tell us where you found it. If you have photos of the building, wall or whatever, I would really like to see more!

Dorte: You could probably go see the entire building! It's in Hojer in southwest Denmark! I have a couple of other shots of the building, but this is my favorite.

Lovely! From a certain angle, it looks like a sundial too! :)

Dorte H 2/11/09, 8:48 AM

LOL!
- still, Hojer is a couple of hundred kilometres from my home in the northwestern corner of Denmark, but I may see it in a holiday.

Such a nice combination of colors. Are the trees on the other side of the glass, or a reflection?

Anonymous,  2/11/09, 9:53 AM

Beautiful. I love it!

Anonymous,  2/11/09, 9:57 AM

Neat shot contrasting the rough manmade brick with the soft trees in the window:)

teabird 2/11/09, 11:07 AM

Wonderful - a portal or a reflection? Or both?

Anonymous,  2/11/09, 11:51 AM

This is cool. Makes me want to go through and see what's on the other side.

Tanya 2/11/09, 12:16 PM

I also couldn't be sure if it was a window or a reflection, save for your title. I like. :)

Louise 2/11/09, 12:16 PM

Thanks for posting those great Danish images from time to time Beth, I really do hope you'll come back visiting. Camera in hand!

Ohhh....that's really cool!

What's that hole for? Is that a creek hole or just your bricks peeping window? It's cool to see those green creamy thing on the hole. Reminds me of a dreamcatcher movie.

Melody 2/11/09, 6:59 PM

I echo the others! Nice shot!

Anonymous,  2/11/09, 7:38 PM

Celeste 2/11/09, 8:48 PM

Lovely shot. If you had not said so I would not have know it was a reflection

Indrani 2/11/09, 10:25 PM

Great imagination there!
Like Mojo said, takes a while to make out if the trees are the reflection or on the other side.

LivingforGod 2/11/09, 10:49 PM
