The Official Mockingjay 13-District Blog Tour
Well, hold on to your hat, because August is going to be a big month for Suzanne Collins fans.
I am absolutely thrilled to give you hint of things to come. First, Beth Fish Reads is participating in the tour. Be sure to mark your calendar for Monday, August 30, when the tour stops here to honor District 13!
On that day, I'll publish a post about District 13 and will be holding an exclusive (secret for now!) giveaway.
Throughout August, you'll be able to visit all 13 districts, share your excitement for Mockingjay, enter giveaways, and read a variety of posts about the trilogy.
You also don't want to miss the Official Hunger Games Facebook Page, where the tour stop calendar will be listed along with news, polls, trivia games, videos, and more. You can also visit the Facebook page by clicking on the District 13 badge in my sidebar.

I have heard very good things about the series, just haven't had time to fit it in. *sigh* seems like the story of my life. :-)

Well now I know where the tour begins and ends, and I can't wait to find out where else it stops.
I was involved in the prerelease events for Catching Fire and it was a lot of fun.
I guess I need to read Hunger Games and Catching Fire before all the excitement starts.
I'm on the outside looking in with the Hunger Games; haven't yet read the first two!
My two older children, however, are counting down the days until the August release of Mockingjay ... I'll send them back here to see what you have up your sleeve.

My daughter was looking for something to read last week and I loaned her my copy of Hunger Games. She finished both books in the series in a day and a half and was upset that Mockingjay wasn't released yet. Perhaps I can get her to try blogs with this event :)
ACK! I can't stand it! I am number 42 in the line for the audiobook at the library, and I'm here to tell you that I'm not going to be able to wait that long. I have been saving my birthday money to freaking buy the audiobook (which makes me crazy)but if you see one flying around PLEASE remember your friend Sandy.
Even though we're representing different Districts, I won't let that affect our friendship :)
